Transam Wheels on a Firebird - offsets?

I have a standard 1987 5.0 Firebird, and I intend to fit some Transam wheels. I read somewhere that the Transam wheels have different offsets front and rear.

Can anyone tell me if this is correct, and if so, how (without measuring them) I can tell which wheels are front and which are rear?
