here it goes.
i decided to upgrade my ss. i am putting headers maybe (edelbrock), some gears (3.73 or 4.10 richmond) my car is 6-speeds. a new cam w/springs, new rockers, and lifters. maybe (new water pump ls6)
can anyone advice on the products to buy and the price for them. since i do not know the specs for my car can anyone help on which ones to buy, so i do not buy what my car already has. I live in Los Angeles, and the car is a 2001 camaro SS (65,000m), it does not have an egr valve sticking out of my intake.
i have $1,400 to invest, i saved more from last post, i know it is going to be more so i want all the prices so i could know how much more i need.
thank for any comments

wtf? do you sell crack or something? lol
Well I guess the first preliminary question to ask is are you going to do this all your self, or pay someone to do it for you?

why are you going to put in gears like that? Do you not like the top end? That LS1 is going to roast your tires off with those gears.

Well, it depends on what you want the car to do. Do you want off the line speed and very low top speed? or do you want high top speed and less off the line spin the tires power? Cause the gears you mentioned will give you less top end speed.

well if his lives in L.A his probly goign to be all light to light racing so ull want good off the line if this is ur everyday drive don't go with 4:10 thats like hardcore drag racing style ur gas will be gone in no time i would say like 3:42 depends on how much u drive it maybe 3:73's

especially witht those 4.10... 3.73 would be ok I think,
But man, you are talking about putting a new cam in and stuff like that, serious "no bs/room for error or your car will run like shit" work. very labor intensive and very pricey... But I am assuming your friend is giving you some sort of deal or discount?
Out of all of those things you could maybe put the headers on your selfif you have a lift that you can use and if your have a torque wrench amoung other things.
But just make sure whoever touchs your car knows exactly what they are doing, especially when it comes to taking that engine apart and putting it back together otherwise you will be in a world of frustration

ok i trust him, but first we should start small in case there is a mistake, first the headers with the 3.73 gears since it is my daily driver, what about the rockers are they easy to install and what kind, my friend works only on lt1 and ls1's

If the car is a 6-speed, 4.10's are fine. Still has plenty of top end.
Pacesetter headers are the best ones for the buck right now.
You already have the LS6 intake, so you are good there. Pics shows you have a lid as well.
Catback?? I recommend Magnaflow.
With headers, you will need cats and a y-pipe in Cali.
Money gone.

Well, since you said that your friend knows LT1's and LS1's tell him what you want and he should be able to help you out a lot more than most of us can.
