auto to manual swap

im sick of looking for a 240sx and ill never find one, so ive decided to just swap my sentra over to manual. im going to use the tranny swap from a 240sx as a guide, but should it basically be the same? put in the clutch pedal and slave cylinder, get manual tranny and ECU, and just take out the old tranny and ECU and put the new ones in?

I might be wrong, but I don't believe the your sentra has a hydraulic clutch. But I don't know what kinda sentra you have. The SR20 is a cable clutch anyway.

my sentra is an automatic. i have a 94 sentra E. should a transmission swap be rather straight forward? take out the engine and tranny, and reattach a manual tranny? dont they both connect to the engine the same way?
