$112 for the shift knob. Nothing lucky about that. I can see it now. The next sap who gets it, will install it. A few days later, he'll be found with his car the same exact way as that one. And the only thing left will be that shift knob, with the new owners hand still attached.

The guy is lucky, but still, pretty dumb. I would've gotten rid of that shift know along with the car. If I had an accident like that, I wouldn't want anything sitting around my house that has anything to do my nearly fatal accident. Nothing...

I don't care how lucky that shift knob is, I wouldn't buy it. The guy is definetely lucky to be alive.

I read about theat guy last year. he had an article in Autoweek. I dont know if he mentions what happened but he was rear ended by a semi. the car was shoved forward under another semi so he was sandwiched in between two 18 wheelers. the guy actually survived with few injuries. at the time it happened Subaru got a hell of alot of publicity cause I mean shit, if a WRX can get like that and you dont die, then there built preaty freaking good. oh and btw, the truck that rearended him was carrying, get this, liquid nitrogen!
the guy even has a video of him talking about the accident on ebaumsworld.com.
