Spun connecting rod bearing

Oka, ran into another problem... spun bearing on the connecting rod closest the alternator rotor. The shaft isn't gouged, it's scored, but runnning a fingernail across the journal doens't catch. I have a replacement crank, but the rotors are on both of the cranks, and cannot be removed while out of the bike... so I'm kinda f'd in the a on that.
Anyone know if I can just replace the connecting rod and bearings (Already have both) and go along my merry way in the project from satan's bunghole? I'd like to reuse the crank just for ease.
