Help

today I jumped started a freind then I started to go home my self and half way there my car stero went out my car started saying I was low on fuel. I think my car kept on stalling to because my speedomider gauge kept droping then coming back up.Thn I had no gauges. Oh also My headlights and I think my tail lights went out. Anyway I got home and it stalled. tried to start it agion and it did not start. Then a couple minutes later I tried it agion and it started right up then I turned on my lights then I lost power to the raido and all the gauges agion. What's wrong with this car.
