Hi, a little help needed over here!!!
Does anyone know if the CA18det camshafts and the SR20det camshafts are interchangeable??
I know over in the US the KA and SR cams are as the S13 cams are used for a power hike for the S14, though will it work on the CA and SR??
Any ideas people??
I've noticed alot of you use Norris Designs for parts another company that speacialises in the SX is Horsham Developments, they offer upgrade and do it youreslf upgrades all the way to Stg3. There promo S13 runs 420bhp at the hubs on the standard ecu!! I've put there address in below.
Cheers.

Im gonna have to say no to the CA18 to the SR20 swap on the cams...and yes the S13 KA24DE Exhaust cam is swapped into the S14 KA24DE because its the same engine and the Exhaust cam on the S13 has a longer duration so replacing the Intake Cam and running 2 exhaust cams shifts the powerband to more topend.

I'm sure you can't, they are totally different engines, besides, the CA is belt driven and the SR is chain driven.

240SXSlideStar is right, SR is chain driven and the CA is not. Look at any picture of the SR you will not see a belt.
And thats pretty cool about the cams in KA, I never knew that, learn something new everyday!

Sprockets for SR20DET timing chain, where I am from people use chain to run on those.
