Ive been thinking about the H&R OE sport springs for my 98 ex coupe. My question is if they only lower avg. 3/4 inch would I need new struts or would my stock struts be able to handle that drop?

Stock struts will work fine.

absolutely, stock shocks will be fine because OE sports are actually smoother than stock while performing better as well, therefore, your shocks won't take a beating like i had with my cheap-ass coilovers with 450 spring rates in the front. I installed H&R sport, which dropped it 1.9 in the front, and 1.8 in the back, and although it raised the car higher then my setup with my coilovers and although the spring rates are 276 all around, it handles smoother, and performs much better. H&R makes good quality springs, so your shocks will certainly not need to be changed with OE sports.
