well I got a Revell AG New Beetle from a friend in England, and in shipping the roof was smashed, and the body was cracked. the body crack was an easy fix, but the top was a different story, so I decided convertable, then after seeing all of the fine work done here on A/F I decided to go a little more wild. I know how you all love images, so here goes.....
firs off the base of the project, you can see the front pillars are bent and not worth trying to fix.

and here it is with the roof cut off and the glass rough cut into the aproximate shape I am looking for.

here is the new front end I am fabricating. I haven't yet decided how wild I am going with this, I think it will be quite extreme though.

I hope you all enjoy, I finally have some creative juices flowing, and need to hurry up and finish one or two kits this year, some time
will post more as project progresses.

thanks guys!! Ferrari TR, I like the "Bugster" I plan on a much lower profile tonneau for the rear seats, and a set of subs to cover the hole under it. this should be a quick project (hopefully) since it is curbside.
I am thinking a gold base with a yellow or amber clear over it, with some yellow and silver graphics.
