Behinde the glove box from what I have heard & seen.
You got to unhinge the glove box get it out of the way you will be ablde to see a black box with large ducts going 2 each side open that up & there should be a filter in there.
Last time I changed 1 was in a buddies car about 4 years ago.

Hi! I had dust coming from the AC for the past few days and after a search on the net concluded that this generation of Civics do not have a cabin air filter. If you manage to locate it, can you post a bit more detailed instructions. I unhinged the glove box and peered inside. I am attaching a photo of what I saw (in the photo the glove box is not unhinged). Is the thing on the right the cabin air filter? If so I saw some electrical components in the way to getting it out, and so I gave up. Any help will be appreciated a lot. BTW, where is the AC intake on a civic?
