window tinting

anybody have any luck with window tinting.
i put some on my ford ranger 2000 and looks good, but wonder do you put the tint to the edge of the windows. or do you leave some space so you can roll up the widow without tearing it.some say use fingernail polish on the edges . also some little seperation in some places, just tiny ones, can this rewet and squeggy them out.

i would leave a 1/4" gap before the edge of window.

i've tinted alot of windows back in the day,always left1/8-1/4 on the edge never had any probs,never used nail polish either.

yeah its better to leave the gap, and exactly like he said, nailpolish would just look sloppy and probly wouldnt help anything..
