seal replacement or no?

yeah im swapping my engine im my GXL and the engine im getting has been sitting for 5 years....i heard that the engine could get ruined without replacing the seals and whatnot...just give me some info on this subject...give me some advice..Thanks

what kind of engine is it (turbo, n/a, etc)

i hope the seals are still good, they cost 900$


do an ATF treatment, and do a search to find what an ATF treatment is

not ATF, use MMO.
