Hello,
I recently bought the carrera gt and I want to paint it in a metallic red. I tried the metallic red from humbrol and it's WAY to bright and had a pint shine. It needs darker.. Does anybody know how i could achieve it? Perhaps with mixing 2 or 3 colours, but i think adding just black would make it kind of dull looking. It doesn't have to be humbrol colours. I can get Tamiya and revell colours easily, but I want to airbrush them.
thx in advance

Hey,
I suggest tamiya mica red with a dark base. Or maybe you could apply a light coat of smoke over your current color.

You may try a black under coat.
