remove tib door panels

Hi Fellow Tiburon fans !

I am sound insulating my Tib with Dynamat Extreme (if you have the time you should try it, good stuff, easy to work with)..Anyway, my question is, how too remove door panels? Got all the screws out, detached the tweeter, but something is still holding it, around the door latch, vertical-round- door -grab-handle area..noticed a slot on the door handle about the size of a screwdriver blade, but didn't want to dig too hard and muck it up ! Please let me know if you have been down this road ! Thanks

Have you removed the power window switch and grip handle? The Door handle housing should come off with a little finesse and elbow grease. Get these off and the screws around the outside of the panel and the damn thing should come off fairly easily. I could be wrong, or could be missing something, but im pretty sure thats how. If not, I guess I will learn something as well. Let us know your progress.

Thanks for the response! The door handle housing and grip handle is where I got stopped, The grip handle has a little screwdriver size slot near the top. I probed around there a little, but nothing seemed to want to pop loose and I did not want to be applying force in the wrong place/direction. Guess I'm topped off on elbow grease, but finesse is down a quart !

you have screws along teh edges of the door.. tweeter area... in the handle grip.. and in the actuala pull handle...
you have to give it a pull and lil pop like clips will un clip.. but dont worry theyre not broken.. they snap righ back in
