Few questions ...

Whats Up ppl.

I have few questions to ask. I bought 18" Mille Miglia Evo Chrome rims with Bridgestone Potenza RE730 tires (235/40/18)and I just ordered lowering springs from H&R. Is this combination gonna work or will I have any problems ??? The drop is 1.4" and it's already pretty tight (without the springs) :bloated:

My next question is : IS there ANY REAR CLEAR LIGHTS for the 95-96 Maxima ??? If there is something like that out there plz let me know. I found a web site that sells these, but I haven't seen any Maxima with those lights, so I'm thinking that it might be just bullshit on the internet.

One more for you Maxima lovers : I'm looking forward to buy some good and cheap sway and strut bars, any advice ??? Plz give me an web site or an adress, or anything. Give me some advice.

All I'm looking forward to is better handling on my 96 GLE cause my ride needs some better handling , and FAST. I just switched from a 98 Prelude SH, so feel my pain. Maximas are amazing but they need a better suspension. Anyways, I would really appreciate some help from all the g-force lovers out there , peace

www.streetbeat.com has fstb's for $35 that work just fine; www.shox.com sells addco rsb's, I think they are around $140, but don't quote me; springs also go a long way to helping the handling of the max, H&R's are the closest to the stock ride while lowering about 1.4in, and they greatly improve handling. I have seen clear tails for the 95-96 Max, so it's not just BS, just make sure you get them from a reputable site so they don't rip ya off. Make sure you get some good bulbs too, or your rear end will be lit up in pink. Good luck. :D

Cyko,
i recently bought the same wheels but in silver for my 95 max. Just want to know if you can post a picture of your max. Also how much did you pay for your wheels?

Well , I've been trying to get my hands on some pictures that my friend took, but I work all the time and I didn't get a chance to get em. The car looks really sweet with those wheels. I paid over 2400$ for the package. 18 inch , chrome, Bridgestone 235/40ZR18 RE730 ultra high performance tires and 1 year of warranty (that I'll never need to use). So far I'm very , VERY happy with my choice. During the first week of my cruising on those wheels, I had like 5 or 6 people stoping me and telling that the car is tha bomb. They all think the magz are 19 , 20 inches (they really change the look of the car). It really jumps in the eyes. I got kids in my neiberhood driving their bikes after me to check my wheels all the time , no BSin. The only thing that surprised me was the fact that my maxima didn't drop, the car went up alittle. WTF ... I dunno.... BTW, does anyone know how the f*ck can I ajust the rear Koni Sports (Yellows) . I didn't have any problem with the front , but the rear doesn't look the same way on the top. Anyways , let me know if anyone of you maxima freaks know anything about that. Peace .

You wont have no problem with the H & R s and a 235/40 18 tire. The only problem you ll have is will you be happy with that drop since Eibach and H & R dont lower the vehicle enough.

Those wheels and tires raise your car alot, so even with Koni Adj. Sport and H&R springs it looks like a stock. But for winter I have to put my winter tires and the drop will be bigger on the old wheels. The point is that I don't want to have trouble with all the snow. If you live in south DROP A MAXIMA AT LEAST 2". It's a 4x4 on stock springs.
