i am in the US ... in a small town in south arkansas .. the only place we had that carried models was Wal-Mart ... well they just removed their model section (including paint and glue) ... when i asked the manager ... his response was because of lack of sales they were required to do so to make room for other items ... and it would likely not come back for a year or so ...
i know and have used on occasion a few companies from overseas for ordering models ... but what are some decent places in the US? that have just standard models for online order ...? or a place that offers a print catalogue with photos for order?
the next nearest place is almost 2 hours away from me ... that has a good selection of models and supplies....

wow, Wal-Mart getting rid of something, that seems odd. I have order things from plastic-models.com, its part of towwerhobbies.com. Their service and great and prices aren't bad either. Shipping is usually about 7.99, but some kits shipping is 3.99 and they have closeouts and sratch and dent sales.

have you asked if you could buy the removed stock for a discounted price?

I really like www.modelexpress.net They have a nice mix of good prices on some things and some nice hard to find stuff, and best of all they are in the US. Or Canada. Wherever. Shipping is cheap.
