What is needed to take an 86 Civic DX (carburated) and convert it to an 87 Civic CRX Si (fuel injection)? Also, it is a auto and I'm wanting to convert it to a manual, which the Si is.

As far as the engine. I will need.
-complete engine assembly
-wiring harness (engine and chassis, correct?)
-fuel pump assembly

Anything else? I can't think of anything else at the moment.

As for the auto to manual conversion. I will need.

-shift linkage
-clutch resevior
-clutch line
-petals
-clutch slave cylinder

Is there anything else I missed. Any help with this will be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Shane

Actually, it's easier to install the manual trans than you think. Since it's a cable operated clutch, all you need is the clutch pedal, cable, linkage, clutch, flywheel and possibly a piece of the floor from the SI that holds the shifter in place. I've never taken apart a auto trans shift lever, so I don't know if there is a difference in the way the gear selector from an auto and a shifter from a manual mount to the floor of the car. Other than that, it sounds like you already know what parts you need (don't forget the ECU).

Also, you could just swap the cylinder head and all related components onto your 1500 engine block.
