looks like a background to me, right click in the screen properties, and hit desktop, see if your back grounds changed.

Hello 1saac,
Do a Google search on "trojan-spy.html.smitfraud.c" and read over a few of the forum posts to see which one best applies to your OS. Follow the instructions they have outlined and Good Luck!

"Please check you security settings." It's a background, there's no window and there's grammar errors.

It doesn't have to be a background, although it appears to be one,
I get a Active Desktop Error thing in the same mannor,
but never saw an error unrelated to the background pop up like that,
Install and use Microsoft's Anti-Spyware (Beta) from the link below,
Disable your current firewall/Spyware program, and Run this one,
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/info.aspx?na=0&p=1&SrcDisplayLang=en&SrcCategoryId=&SrcFamilyId=&genscs=&u=%2fdownloads%2fdetails.aspx%3fFamilyID%3d321cd7a 2-6a57-4c57-a8bd-dbf62eda9671%26displaylang%3den
Its the best I've used, it finds everything and gives you the option of what to do about it,
I deleted all of the stuff I didn't recognize, didnt quarantine or ignore anything,
Sorry to hear about your computer problem
