i have a 2001 coupe and i consume gas like a mofo...is it possible that if the air sensor that goes from the filter to the throttle body is not all the way into the slot that it would cause a larger fuel consumption if it is then awesome cuz i just solved my problem but if thats not the cause does anyone have an idea ? :eek7:

Could be a dirty air filter, clogged injectors, heavy foot? Just a few.

When you say "you just cleaned it" I pray you have a K&N or K&N-Type filter, otherwise you better go replace that filter. Other than that, could be A LOT of things. So many bad sensor possiblities along with the injector and such. Just start checking them.

well my main question is that if the sensor thats between the air filter and the throttle body if its not all the way into position if its possible that it would cause more fuel comsumption cuz if it can then i think i pretty much solved my problem :nutkick:
