All I can say is to get a manual... I have a Helms manual for the 96-00 Civic, and it works wonders... tells me exactly where every bolt and screw is. I used it to take out the head unit and put it back in, and I would recommend it. Definitely worth the money.

Go to www.hondaunlockcodes.homestead.com It will cost 3 or 4 bucks, but it saved me a lot of time and headache.

if you do not know how to put in an aftermarket radio then i wouldnt try, you'll probably mess it up. its not that its hard, its actually very easy, but alot of people dont put the cage in right and then it moves around and crap. and as for taking the old one out. you have to take off your complete underdash on driver side, take off your glove box door and then take out the center underdash. then you should have 2 8mm bolts to take out and the radio will slide right out.

with the new one, youll need a wiring harness, just match all the same colored wires up, ex: purple with purple, black with black, and look for stripes too cause those need matched up with the other stipped ones... like orange with white stripe... you should be able to figure it out though... why dont you just got to best buy, buy a radio over 100 dollars and they will install it free... youll just need to buy 30 dollars in parts..
