I recently bought a used 93 Ford Aerostar and I want to install a Jensen stereo reciever in it. Unfortunately the people who owned it before me cut the wire harness off at the end, so I'm looking at a bunch of colored wires, with no idea where each leads. I've tested some wires and figured out the black wire seems to be a shared speaker ground, and the orange w/ grey stripe wire is the front left speaker +, and the white wire is the front right speaker +, but that's about as far as I've been able to get. I'd appreciate if somebody could tell me the color codes for any year of Aerostar and what they correspond to. Or just a simple diagram or description of where each wire connects to the factory harness connector would be great, because I really don't want to use my new stereo receiver as a guinee pig. I've seen people fry car stereos by connecting the wrong wires. Please, I've looked everywhere. My email is danbroda@ij.net, or just reply to this thread. Thanks. I'll post whatever I find out.
