Locking gas cap or door?

Well i've been having a little problem latly.
My gas cap keeps going missing. I'm not in a bad area no thefts ,nothing like that really but when weather gets nice kids get stupid. I seem to be the lucky one and have gotten 3 stolen now *I think me having to park on street helps this problem*
I mean I can snag them for free from a friend legit so its not a big deal but is annoying. I was wondering is there a way around this? My jeep doesn't have a locking fuel door nor gas cap *i have seen them crazy i know*
Sadly I read it's illegal to shoot the little buggers :lol:
