92 Dodge Caravan - Headlight blows repeatedly

The front left headlight on my 92 Dodge Caravan has blown 3 times in a week. I changed the first headlight, the second one worked for about a day. When it blew it blew the bulb to pieces. I took the whole assembly off and dumped all of the glass out of it. Then I changed it again. This time it blew and is cracked and black but it still intact. I know not to touch the bulb and I haven't. Is there anything else that I can look for. Is there a voltage regulator for the headlights that could be bad. Someone give me a hint?

Perhaps moisture is leaking into the assembly? Or possibly the assembly is loose and moving while driving?

It would seem to me that since both lights are on the same circuit it must be isolated to that one socket/lamp.

Did you try a different brand bulb, or one from a different vendor?

When I pulled the assembly I didn't notice that there was any moisture inside. The assembly is also tight. I will pull it off again in a day or two and check again though.
Both headlights were from the same store, same brand.

My 89 does the same thing cost a war pension to keep it lit... We had to drill holes in the housing to let moisture out... it was blowing the bulbs.

I drilled a hole in the housing and it lasted all night. The last two times it lasted about half hour or less. I also noticed when I would pull it out that there was very high pressure. Popped when removed. Anyways drilling seems to have worked.
