5.7 tpi idle adjustment

someone had the proper way to adjust the idle on 5.7 tpi. i can't find the thread or the person. any idea who it was/

Moi.
To start:
1) Jumper pins A & B on the ALDL with a paperclip or the like.
2) Turn key on, don't start the engine. and wait 15 seconds
3) Remove the connector from the IAC
4) Remove the jumper from the ALDL
5) Block the wheels and start the car, set parking brake, put in O-drive
6) Adjust the Idle to 500-550 RPM at operating temp. Don't go by the factory tach.
7) Put back in park
8) Turn off car and reconnect IAC
You have just set "minimum air"
Next:
Back probe pins A & B on the throttle position sensor with a meter set to volts.
Turn the key on.
Check voltage on meter, it should be .54 +/- .017. Adjust throttle position sensor to obtain this.
Remove meter.
You have just set your TPS for "idle".
Start the car and check it out. You should now be seeing 600-650 RPM idle in gear.

thanks morley. my service manual just arrived between it and every bodies help my switch from ford ot chevy should be painless
