Hey guys and gals, I am planning on a 60,000 mile service on my 2001 Dodge neon SE ATX. Replace the Plugs, wires and Tranny flush, but the one thing I don't understand is Neons use synthetic Transmission oil, not regular, and what kind is needed. I want to go to a respected Auto Care place called Arizona Auto Care, but I need to tell them what to use.

at 60,000 miles i would suggest you change the timing belt too that is the last thing you want to go out

Do not get the transmission flushed,a big no no.Get the transmission fluid and filter changed, the best thing you can do to the transmission.During the transmission flush, dirt gets inside the crevices inside the valve body and stays there. It causes shifting problems and the valve body has to be cleaned out.My father know a guy that owns his transmission that cleans valve bodies out because someone had their transmission flushed.
