getting frustrated....how do i take this BOV apart!!!

it is a HKS super sound.....i need to tighten up a spring inside... but HOW DO I TAKE IT APART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????

if i remember right, that is the plastic bodied one right? those are prone to be leaky, you might just save some trouble and get a reliable one.

oh shit, its the old school ones. hmmm i've never even seen those in person before. so i can't help you. are you sure theres no adjusting screws on the thing? i'm assuming its like the newer ones where its a poppet style valve instead of a piston style. a poppet style valve you can adjust with the adjustment screw. the piston style ones usually needs to have spacers packed in.

are all hks flanges the same?

i don't think you can take that apart.. call hks and see what they say.. or think about getting a new one

judging from the picture, the flange on this and hte newer SSQ seems to be identical, but you should call HKS for verification.

eh. junk it and get a ssqv they are cheap like 150 now.. save the headach..
