Sure the car can handle some extra ponies. How much are you looking to spend on it? There are simple bolt on to huge turbo setups, so it really does depend on what you want to spend.

the car can handle only soo many more horese with stock internals...if your thinking of getting a turbo on there youll want to look at headers and exhaust also.

welcome bik,

heres teh best questions you should ask yourself...
what is your budget? (how much are you looking to spend?)
what are your goals for you car? (what horse power do you want to achieve? 200? 250? 300? etc etc etc

i think that 200 -/+ is more then enough for me
and lets say i'm kinde of open minded as for budget right now

what are all the mods i can do befor going turbo/super charge

the car is exectly the same as it was when i pickd it up

well with a s/c you can get:
intake
exhaust
headers
bbtb (big bore throtle body)
.. its always a good idea to port and polish your intake manifolds, throttle body, possibly your heads too
with all that and the alpine beta II s/c (super charger) you should have some very nice power for yourself

if youre interested in going with a turbo set up, it should be a kit, everything must piece together, but if i were you i would look into going with the alpine beta II s/c...

Or you can just look under AIM user profile of il corvo24(hey that's me!) I have a link there to Alpine's 2.0L turbo kit, just click on applications, and look for BetaII S/C. O BTW, my name is on now, though I am at work ;)
