Painting Procedure!?

Painting up a Tamiya Porsche 911 GT3. For painting the exhaust it gives the following colors. For part number A8:
X-11:1+X-26:1
Does that mean I'm supposed to paint it Chrome Silver with a coat of clear orange over it???

Nope. That means u are going to mix the paint in the same ratio. Example, 5 ml of chrome silver to 5 ml of clear orange.

...But the exhausts will look better if you use metallic grey or gun metal (don't know off hand the X numbers) instead of chrome silver. Personally, I do like to paint the exhausts a base of metallic grey, and then airbrush clear orange, blue, red and smoke over top on places where the pipes bend.
