One of my last callers

Just had a caller....who had his nokia on line 2.....

It took 9 minutes to get it back to line 1...and the only reason he got it back to line 1 was because he passed the phone to someone else to follow my instructions....

He didn't even understand what I was referring to when I said "screen, signal...etc

I gotta wonder about some of our customers sometimes....could just hear him keep pressing all the keys....hard enough getting him to switch his phone on and off.

don't be too hard on him....it's damn hard to get a signal inside a Commodore...;)

he hardly spoke any english....and I wonder why he didn't just get his friend to ring in the first place?

seriously though....9 minutes to figure out how to "hold down the hash key" .......

No. I think it's something to do with the fact they are AUSTRALIAN :finger:

I don't think that matters....some people just need a licence to own any electrical equipment.

or at least five minutes going through the handbook with the salesman....some manufacturers make their equipment so complex when the average person really only needs a FisherPrice'my first mobile'in a better-looking case....;)

Thats true to...but when you don't know what the screen is or the signal and you don't know how to hold the hash key down...that is a worry....

Its like people who are installing things into their computer, and instead of pressing the return key they type the word return in

Or as a good storage idea...they store their floppy disks on magnets on the walls :p

I always wondered what Line2 does? Is it like if you have 2 sim cards installed or something on a high end phone and they can't be bothered writing other software?

Line 2 doesn't do anything. Nokia has pre-programmed the software in their phones for a second phone line, however that function isn't used in Australia, that's why if you switch it onto line 2, you will get "check operator services" or tri-tones when you dial.

I bloody reckon. My Mums got one of those Orange OnNe phones. Useless piece of shat. About as user friendly as a Unix server to my Grandma.
