When I park my truck on the driveway wich is on a slant, water drips from the back off the muffler. It's not a lot but what would cause this ? It's not coolant.

It's normal vapour condensation, don't worry about it.

Correct. There is actually a drain hole added to the low part of the muffler that allows this to drain instead of collecting inside of the muffler. Short drives produce more water.

Thanks guys, I just bought this truck (first Chevy) and was worried. But I guess there's no reason to be.

I just bought a 01 Silverado and noticed the samething these trucks make lots of water. The exhaust with a huge muffler has lot of inside area to heat up. I think this is why there is so much condensation

Man, if chevy decides to make a longer truck than a quad cab long bed, it will have to be articulated in the middle....thatīs a long truck.

The nice thing about the long wheelbase is the smoother ride.http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/#

Long box is nice at the lumber yard for those common 8 footers. Hell in a parking lot though. Everythings a trade off, so much for perfection.
