I also have the 91 that will be for sale soon with a TDO6H 20g. I'm thinking in the 3500 range, with enough mods to comfortably run 11s. I could make a lot more parting out all its mods, but we all know how I feel about parting out perfectly good cars. Pics on the site. I havent really announced it yet. California is a bit far though, so this is really just a shameless plug...

$9k. the kid who bought this immaculate vehicle is now complaining about the breather(only mod ever)filter I put on there and threatening to take me to court because some dumbshit wont smog it.

I set the price high so chances were slim of finding that one idiot. He came to my door while I was bleeding the clutch and bought it 7 mins later and now I anticipate legal problems. What are you driving now? You can always shop for another 2g GSX. Surprised you didn't mod it much. Guess you're not as addicted to speed as many of us are. You can borrow my time machine for $9k. :wink:

I was getting to the mods, careful planning was in the works. I never really thought somebody would buy it for that price, I later saw a 97 with 100k miles selling for 12g's(doh!). Very luckily I inherited a 88 300e benz the very same day, granted its a piece of shit but its free. I'm planning on buying a 300z or something cheap to rebuild the motor and abuse at the track. I would buy a 1g gsx if a good(stock)one ever came up. That kid who bought my car is gonna catch a beat down if I get my hands on the time machine.

Lots of things in CA are more expensive than in other states. It's basically a supply and demand issue for turbo DSMs. Our cars are becoming extinct, some people want to go out and buy a turbo eclipse after watching F&F or PMR, etc. Other reasons are that our cars are rare, sexy, powerful, and a good platform to modify. It's also hard to find 1Gs or 2Gs in good condition. I searched for a late 2g GST or GSX for over a year before I found my GST. I couldn't wait any longer because my previous car's clutch and transmission needed replacing, so it was the time to make the transition into the DSM world. Been through so many test drives that I've had my fill of car shopping to last me years. I bought my car for around $9k with 33,800 miles on it. There was this one GSX I saw on autotrader, but it sold for $12,900 before I even got a chance to go take a look. Most turbo DSMs in this state are listed in ads for 1K to as much as 6K above bluebook value unless there's something really wrong with one or if it doesn't have a clean title.

Shit, I need to raise the price on my car.
