Civic Coupe ~Progessions~

Well, its been a day, and the CF shrunk! Its not that noticeable, but damn, I was going for a flawless look. :evil:

The wheels are RX7 stockers custom painted. They will be wraped in some Toyo tires.

sorry to hear about the hood, too bad it looked flawless too! I would suggest touching up the area with some semi gloss black. That would be less noticeable than the body color showing.

Same thing happened to my Civic model like that. But like you said, not too noticeable. Still looks good overall. I probably wouldn't have even noticed if you hadn't mentioned it! LOL!!!

Yea, I cut them with a dremel, lined them up w/the revell Toyos. I jusy have to resize the tires, kinda too big. Get another coupe, I would like to see it. :naughty:

I'v seen a real prelude with cf doors and it looked good, but i dont no if it would look good on a model.

Somewhere ive seen a model with CF doors. It looked sick. I think it would look sweet no this model. Just my thoughts tho

Well This is my 1st time using CF on such hard lines such as the trunk. I need still need to mock it up some more. Heres a few snaps before I clean it up. I need to fix the rear civic decal. The center Lic plate will be painted Flat Black.

Heres an update. I Re-Did the CF trunk, Just didnt cut it. I also managed to CF the fenders. I still need to do the other side. Needs to be Mocked up a bit also.

1/20th, A buddy of mine at pegasus hobbies told me 1/20th scale looked more scaled down with 1/25/24 scaled models.

I agree that it looks better without the c/f fenders ( not that it looked bad with them ), but i think that the mugen's looked better as far as wheel choice goes..........................*Ryan*

I love the paint.... for some reason the color just pops out. Ofcourse the black trim really helps out too. Great job.
