Well I went over to my girlfriends house the other day and her ex-aunt that lives next to her put her ex-husbands 15" stock rims out by the road. There was only two so I grabbed them up and brought them home. She said they were off his escort. Anyways, i was looking for some stock rims anyways to put track tires on.
What tires do you recommend as track tires (drag strip). I was thinking about Falken Azenis Sports, where have you guys found to be the cheapest?

Falkens seem to have stiffer sidewalls. I liked my Nitto 555r's over the Azenis for the strip. Now for AutoX, the Azenis tend to be better.

Yeah I would love to get into the autox scene, but there is no where close to me that does it. The only things we have are round dirt track and 1/8th mile drag strip.

I picked my Nitto's up for $125 a piece. They were also 205/50's.
Discount tire seems to have the better prices. I am not sure how much better the new Azenis are though. I know they changed their design recently. The new Azenis run $115 each off their website.

Crap 15"s cost more than my 17"s lol. Probably won't get some for awhile since I am in the middle of my swap. Still have the break in period, plus cam and nitrous install. Just have to keep my eye out and find a good deal I guess.

See if you can get some Mickey Thompson drag radials. They're significantly better than the BF Goodrich drag radials.
