Hey i'm looking for a set of cams for a b16a what would be the best for the the buck? my future plans are to either do a 50-75 shot nos or drag 3 turbo? if i could do both i probly will. right now i'm leaning more to the turbo but what works well and gives the best power. thanks. and also what do you think of tanbe exh sound and proformance?

For your purposes, it sounds like a set of Civic Type-R or '01 spec Integra Type-R cams would work good.
Tanabe exhausts are fine, although on at least the Racing Medallion (not sure about the other models), there is a bottleneck that needs to be taken care of near the begining.

Yes, Type-R springs are definitely a good idea. That way you will be able to benefit from the increase upper-rpm power of the CTR/ITR cams.
A set runs about $450-$550.

Why get good NA cams to them go FI? If a turbo is in your future forget the cams.

I just suggested the cams because they were fairly mild, and wouldn't hurt his power. Actually I forgot about Skunk2, which I believe just came out with a turbo-grind cam. Not sure about that.
If I can remember correctly, at the beginning of the B-pipe on the Tanabe, there is a point where the ID of the tubing is smaller than 60mm. That's the bottleneck. A local GSR dyno'ed with and without the restriction, and gained 3 whp without the bottleneck.

CTR and ITR cams are pretty aggressive.
Overlap with VTEC is bad enough already...
Get B17A cams...the mildest B-series VTEC cams :D (i'm pretty sure..the first Gen. B16A might have 'em beat)
