howling noise

89 rs 305 5spd manual.
The car makes a weird howling noise when i put it into 5th gear. It doesn't always do it though, it usually quits around 75 mph. It sometimes makes the noise in second gear too. If you guys have any ideas let me know.

sounds like it might be a bearing but im not sure
