Does anyone have an opinion as to whether the HO engine is better that the regular engine? If so why/why not?

I know of no significant difference between the 4.0L HO and the 4.0L and have been told by some certified Jeep mechanics that they are the same. My '94 had the 4.OL HO engine and its successor, my 2000 has the 4.0L engine and I have noticed no difference. The 2000 was a little more sluggish when it was brand new, but now it has long since loosened up and is running identical to the way the '94 ran only a little smoother and quieter.
