Hi, I have 93 cavalier with 13,000 km. I experienced a engine flameout today after I accomponied my wife practice driving for more than one hour. We felt that the car trembling a lot when decelated. We only got time to park the car into the closest parking spot when the engine flameouted with very big noise. The engine temperature was OK at that time. There is a small leakage for my car but the coolant was full in the radiator, I checked it before our driving. Engine oil level is OK too.
Actually we started the car successfully and drove home after the flameout. I just wondering what happened to the car.
Any ideas will be appreciated!

Please provide more detail as to the nature of the flameout. Did the car catch fire inside the engine bay? Was the "big noise" the same sound as a "backfire"? Did you recieve a strong smell of gas during the incident?
If any of these questions can be answered with a "yes", I would very strongly advise you to NOT drive the car until the issue is solved!
In the meantime, look for a fuel leak from any part of the fuel line on/around the engine compartment.
