90 estate wagon

I have the chance to buy a 90 estate wagon and i dont know if i should. The car has 190k and the body isnt too bad. Im just worrried if it will last more than a couple of months but it does have the 305 which I think was standard on those cars. I previously owned a gm with a 350 that lasted to 260k but i dont if much about 305's. So if somebody with knowledge about these cars could help me out here it would be great.
