How to tell if recall work has been done.

I have a 2002 SLT+. Just bought it from a dealer. How do I tell if there has been any recall work (ball joints) done? I checked Dodge's website and searched my VIN number and it said there was no outstanding recall work to be done. Is this accurate or what else could I possibly check?
Thanks.
