removing a cd

i put a cd in my cd player now when i go to eject the cd a error comes up.
will not eject the cd. i don't want to dismantle the radio ,is any other way to get it out. the radio/cd is in a 2000 ford ranger.

Some CD players have a "reset" button it it. Mine is right on the front panel. Look around for one. It'll look like a tiny hole. Use a paperclip to push it, it will reset all of the stations, but it should also eject the CD. If it doesn't have one, simply disconnect the negative battery cable for a couple of seconds, and that should do it.
