no cat OBX headers and a CEL.....

The headers I bought had only one hole for an 02 sensor and have no cats so I had three more bungs welded on (two of those with threaded removable plugs). Should I run all four sensors or run one primary and one secondary and leave the other two ziptied down reading open air? What will the difference be? Also, I was told that there if the Check engine light came on that an 02 sim might not cut it. Has this happened to anyone and how were you able to get the light to shut off.

I4? V6? IF you have an I4, you should only have 2 O2 sensors, so I assume you have the V6. Basically how it goes w/ O2 sensors, is you need one precat on each manifold of your V6, one post cat, and sometimes on the catback. Do you have all of those hooked up? If not your computer assumes there is a problem and throws a CEL......if this is not the problem, next make sure you don't have those wires crimped, or twisted to tightly. If this stuff doesn't work, come back.......

Yeah, ive got the V6 but the aftermarket headers that I bought have no cats on them or the down pipe, this will cause the CEL to come on when I install them right? Because the headers only had only one hole for an 02 sensor I had to have three bungs welded on. My question is, if I have a CEL come on because I have no cat converters on there what do I have to do to turn it off? I was told that they have not developed an 02 sensor for the tib that works effectively, is this true? If not, which ones do I use?
thanks.

Well if you have no cats, then you would need an 02 simulator, but as of right now there aren't any available. You may want to buy a High Flow Cat. Ebay usually has them fairly cheap, and they don't restrict performance much if at all. Plus down the road your ears will thank you. Do you have a catback? If not I am sure you notice ALOT of resonance inside the car, you know what I mean.
Having a cat welded in costs very little and any exhaust shop will do it.
thanks.

I've heard that you tie off the post cat sensors, since their only function is for emmsisions (they will be sensing clean air, so that should work). there are O2 simulators out there, but I haven't heard of any success with them.
