need tc help

My 4wd in my cherokee pioneer just quit yesterday while teaching my brothers 83 chev 4wd a good lesson. My drivetrain is in tacked my fluid is up when I shift to 4h i can hear it engage but it won't drive the front tires. please help. :uhoh:

Engage 4 wd. Turn off the engine , leave the trans in gear (standard trans) or in Park and lift the front end. Grab the front drive shaft and try and turn it.
If the front shaft will not turn, the problem is in your front axle, probably in your front axle disconnect - which is a sliding collar device on the passenger side of the front axle.

(Note,Jeeps made after the mid-90's dont have a front axle disconnect)

If the driveshaft does turn and rotates the front tires, the problem is in your TC.
