3.8 hot intake backfire

i have a 2003 grand prix w/3800 engine has anyone heard of what i would desribe as a backfire in the intake sometimes when restarting after it has been hot (coolant) its like a loud pop. have had a dealer look at it twice, they say they can not dulipcate my problem when they have it. i have heard of plastic intake problems. someone told me their is a service bulletin out there. anybody know of this??

There is one out about the intake gaskets going bad and having to be replaced but never heard of the popping sounds.
