AWD Avenger

Will the Avenger accept AWD engine and drivetrain parts from a 2nd generation Talon? My 95 Talon was smashed bad but the drivetrain is good. Is the chassis the same so that the parts will bolt right on?

im not sure about the specifics of it, but yes it can be done and it has been done. got to asog.net, you should be able to find some good info on it there. i dont think you even have to change the engine... its the same one isnt it?

I take it you had the turbo talon with the 4g63 in it. The avenger 2.0 is a 420A. To bolt the 4g63 in you'll have to do a lot of custom work. The engine and tranny layout is a complete mirror of each other and I have no idea if the frame on the avenger will support the awd without massive work to bolt the tranny on. As for mounting the awd tranny to your existing engine, it won't work. The 420A is a Chrysler engine and tranny and the 4G63 is a Mitsubishi engine and tranny. If your up to the custom work, go for it. It may not be a first but it will definately be rare.
