Progress Thread: Mini Truck

I started this project by cutting the back end of the pillars from the car and smoothing the entire back out to make a good flat surface for the bed to lay on. Then i cut the roof to a size where it will have an overhang over the front window for a more mean look. (seen it on a beetle once). then as you can see from the pic below, i used the how-to from the how-to section showing how-to make a bed for the back of a pickup truck, the pic isn't very clear but i placed a clear piece of plastic over the rear of the mini and traced the size i needed.

and that gave me this result

the mini is going to be primed hopefully this afternoon so i should have the finished painting pics by next weekend. the paint is going to be yellow with one or two decals, maybe flames on it. and the rims i am going to use are from the nissan micra kit :

the rear bed isn't gonna stay clear, im gonna prime it and probably carbon fibre it or keep it in tune with the rest of the yellow on the mini.

any feedback or ideas would be greatly appreciated
