ok here we go, my car died yesterday. it is a 90 rs with a 3.1 and an automatic. i was sitting at a light and my car started to get really hot and when the light turned i took my foot of the brake and put it on the gas i moved about 5 feet and chunk, chunk, chunk. dead. i had lots of bat power. i got it into a parking lot and while waiting for aaa i played with the car alittle. at first it wouldnt even crank. i disconnected the battery for about 20 minutes and it started to crank low and behold. i pulled a plug wire and grounded it and had the tow driver crank the car. i have no spark. i replaced the ignition coil today and still the same problem. what in the distibutor could do this? thats the only thing i can think of. i bought today a new cap rotar and i think its called a module. they people at the store said it goes in the distributor but it looks like a computer chip that would sit on the fire wall or something. could they have given me the wrong thing or does the module for the distibutors in my kinda car be on the outside of the distributor? any other ideas about whats wrong would be appriciated. Thanks, Jess

Ignition module
It sits below the rotor, remove the rotor and you'll see it.
