New Tires!!! Some suggestions??

I've never bought new tires that were any good before, so my Formula is the first to recieve such an honor. I just put a couple of Futura Super Sport 295/50/15's on the back, and i'm trying to decide what to put on the front. I was thinking probably 265/50's, but i'm wondering if I should go a little narrower like 225/50 or 235/50. Is there any advantages to the staggered tires (think that's what they're called)?? I have staggered rims (wider rims in back, right?), does anybody know what would be best??

The wider you can safely go up front, do it.

I have 245/45/17's up front right now, and I don't trust them for shit. The car feels almost kinda wobbly. Stock it came on 275/40/17's. My burnout tires are on the fronts right now. :icon16:
