I have a 1986 Toyota MR2 and I am having some problems steering the car. I talked to a guy who said he was a mechanic and he told me that my power steering fluid may of been out. I didnt know they had power steering for these years (I still think they dont, I havent found where you fill it up) If it does have power steering, where do you refill it? Thnx ahead of time for any info.

I am pretty sure the MKIs do not have P/S.
... Have you checked your front tire pressure?

I need to get some new tires so that might be the problem...I might just get some rims in the process, how does 16's sound on an MK1

i have some 16's for my mk1. they look quite good, however you can't run more than a 215/45/16 or you'll have rub issues... (used that one because it is really close to the stock diameter of tire/wheel)

Thnx for that bit of info...... People kept telling me that the MK1 is one of the top competitors when it comes to handling and I hope I can see a difference in handling now.

if you plan on AutoX or short course racing you'll see a bigger difference with sticky tires on 13" rims...

Im really interested in doing AutoX, I'll 16's for street and 13's for the track since I still need the car to get to school and drive around.
