I think from the last post you have a 4g63. Try writing that in your signature so people can help you more. Year, model, and modifications.

Looking down into the engine bay, find your turbo. Look to the right (the exhaust (hot) side of the turbo), the rusted piece attached is called the o2 housing. It's about 6" long. The o2 sensor is visible right on top, by looking down. Its base is 22mm. It has a shroud enclosing 4 wires coming from it. Hard to miss.

You don't know where your turbo is? Look down, find the engine. Look closer to you (farther toward the front of the car) and find the exhaust manifold sheild with a "do not touch" logo. Your exhaust manifold is directly below, and your turbo attached to the bottom of the manifold. See above.

To take the sensor out, use a 22mm wrench. It sucks because the angle isn't great. If I remember correctly, the best angle is directly above, knocking your hands against the radiator. Use PB Blaster before hand, let a soak for a bit. I had to knock my wrench with a mallet. It was fun.

For future reference, it would be wise to buy a Haynes manual.

Also, all this applies to a 2g 4g63. Except buying a manual :)

Are you sure the sensor is bad? It'll usually let you know it is by flashing a CEL, I think.

I'm sure that somebody would love to help you but nobody knows what the year, make, model, or even if its standard or auto. Please put this info into your signature, if you don't know how then go to the top of the page and go to user cp and go to signature and enter the info. Thanks.

If your car is of the 1st gen non-turbo 2.0 like mine then look right on the exhaust manifold right infront of the radiator.

I would even suggest the Chilton's repair manuel, I love it because I think that it shows and tells alot more info then the haynes but the haynes is easier to come by at least where I live it is.
