Violent wobble

 Guys. Can you help a friend of mine. He's got a '85 M1008 6.2 Ex- Military Blazer. Let me start by saying that I'm from the UK, so excuse my terminology, and also what he doesn't know about 6.2's is not worth knowing. He knows his stuff - Up until now :naughty: Let's face it even the best of the best have off days. He works on these things for customers, so it's his bread and butter, you know what I mean.
This Blazer he's trying to repair for someone has got a bad - almost violent wobble to it.
He's replaced all the front/rear bushes in the springs ( I hope this all makes sense to you, as I'm lost already ) :loser:
All the anti - roll bar bushes.
Both front wheel barings.
New front shocks.
He says it's not a tracking wobble, or a wheel balance wobble, but it feels like you are driving with no front shocks.
He says that it's ok when you pull off. You could even go over a large pot hole in the road and it would be fine, but if you were to hit something small on the road, then thats when it starts to wobble badly. So bad that you can't drive through it, you have to stop.
I was reading some of the threads earlier, and steering slop came up. I mentioned this to him before writing this, and apparently the only thing he hasn't changed yet ( tomorrow's job ) is the steering box.
I know what you are all going to say, but he asked me to write this anyway, in case you could come up with anything other than the obvious? It's just he's NEVER come across anything like it before on these. This truck has been stood for a while though.
Probably jumping the gun as they say, sorry, but this thread is at his request, not mine. I hope you have some other suggestions other than the obvious.
All the best,
Jules.
